Congratulations Mrs. Lion-Bailey! Mrs. Lion-Bailey has been selected as a future Google Certified Innovator, the highest honor in regard to Google for Education. After passing a series of Google exams, completing a rigorous application process, and creating a video highlighting her vision for 21st century learning, Mrs. Lion-Bailey will be attending the Google Certified Innovator Academy in Mountain View, California in February 2016. While at the academy, she will have the privilege of learning with and from a cohort of fellow educators about maximizing 21st century learning in education today. The video she submitted with her application can be found at https://youtu.be/L6tXBjXjzP4. It is rare for districts to have Google Certified Innovators. Morris Plains is fortunate to have two, Mr. Kramar and Mrs. Lion-Bailey.

The presentation is free, open to Morris Plains students and parents/guardians, and it is scheduled for February 22 at 7pm at Memorial Jr. School (Whippany). Although the presentation is free, participants need to register. Please see the flyer for more details. I would like to thank the Hanover Substance Awareness Council for making this event possible.
